The legal description is 20 lines long and begins/ends with: 'The North One Hundred six and two thirds acres of the Southwest Quarter……………………..Range Sixty-one West (61) W in the County of Dickey State of North Dakota’. The appraised value is $69,400 and is categorized by the County Assessor as “Farmstead” land and this amount is also known by the Assessor as the “Production Value” of the property.
The property is used for agricultural purposes. Corn is grown on 66 acres and soybeans on 32 acres of the parcel. Per the USDA, the PLC Yield on the corn crops is 131 and 31 on the soybean portion.
2017 taxes were just assessed on 12/15/17 and are $631.86. The invoice for 2017 is sent in late December so is, currently, unpaid. 2016 taxes were approximately $705.00 and have been paid. There are no past due taxes per the County Treasurer’s office as of 12/15/17.
The property is located south of Highway 11 and approximately 12-13 miles west of Ellendale. It is approximately 3-4 miles north of the state line of South Dakota and about 135 miles southwest of Fargo
